Enrico Linscheer, LegalGen’s Founder and CEO, an experienced IT Executive, decided that it would be prudent to have his affairs in order for his growing family. Based in Dallas, TX, Enrico sought out an experienced Estate Planning Attorney and a connection was made with FBFK, who had an experienced estate planning attorney.
Enrico sat down with the Attorney, (Carol Butrus) and she did a great job of explaining all of the different options available to him; the documents he should have as a minimum, as well as expanded options for a growing family and career. Enrico decided to start with the basic documents, a Last Will & Testament, Healthcare and Durable POA’s as well as a few other ancillary documents, however, Enrico also realized that the product and cost offering were more than what he was looking for at this time. Together with Carol, Enrico created a product and offering that would target this specific “type” of client. In doing so, LegalGen was created, allowing the client to fill out an online intake form and using the responses from that intake form to automatically populate the requisite information into each document, resulting in a better experience for the client and massive time savings for the attorney and staff.

Carol, after hearing this same statement numerous times from a number of potential clients, engaged Enrico as to why he had to think about it. This conversation proved to be insightful for both Enrico and Carol.
